Chord
Symbols for Finale (Coda)
To use
these chord symbols and chord sufixes in your own scores, download and copy the
.lib file to the Finale\Library directory.
As there is
yet no clearly-defined standard of chord symbols, the systems most
commonly encountered are described in the Dictionary
of Chords for Piano and Keyboards
by Luciano Alves, where 60 types of
chords (including altered chords) are covered with their respective
chord symbols, totalling 2,640 inversions. At the moment, this book is
available in Portuguese only.
