Alves.
First Alves'
work recorded completely with acoustic instruments, with a Steinway
grand piano. The tunes reflect the wealth of rhythm and musical heritage
of ten Brazilian states, highlighting the most striking characteristics
of each.

category. The style of his repertoire is pop-jazz, with an
Afro-Brazilian flavor, creating a universal language.

MUTANTES AO VIVO LP launched in
1976 (Som Livre Recording
Company). Recorded at the Museum of Modern Art
in Rio de Janeiro, with songs written by the members of the
fifth Mutantes Group: Sergio Dias (guitar and lead vocal),
Luciano Alves (keyboards and vocal), Rui Motta (drums and vocal) and
Paulo de Castro (bass, violin and vocal).
This LP was
recorded live, directly on two channels and mastered at the Sigla Studio
(Som Livre). In 2000, the tapes were digitally remastered and launched
on CD.
